Jewelry Care Guide
Handcrafted mythology jewelry is built to last generations — with a little care, your piece will tell your story for a lifetime.
Daily Care Tips
Keep It Dry
Remove your pieces before showering, swimming, or exercising. Water — especially chlorinated or salt water — accelerates oxidation and dulls the finish over time.
Avoid Direct Sunlight
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat can fade patinas and weaken resin or stone settings. Store in a cool, dry place when not wearing.
No Perfumes or Chemicals
Apply perfume, hairspray, and lotions before putting on your jewelry. Chemicals in these products react with metals and can cause discolouration.
Polish Regularly
Use the included microfiber cloth to gently buff your piece after wearing. For deeper cleaning, use a soft toothbrush with warm soapy water (silver only) and dry thoroughly.
Store Properly
Keep each piece in its own velvet pouch to prevent scratching. Store in a dry environment — a small silica gel packet in your jewellery box helps absorb moisture.
Care by Material
Sterling Silver (925)
Polish with a silver cloth to remove tarnish. Avoid rubber, which accelerates darkening. Annual professional polish recommended for heavily worn pieces.
Oxidised Silver
The dark patina is intentional. Avoid silver polish — use only a soft dry cloth. The oxidation may lighten naturally with wear, which many collectors find beautiful.
Gold Vermeil (Gold over Silver)
Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Avoid abrasive polishes that remove the gold layer. No ultrasonic cleaners.
Bronze & Brass
Develops a natural patina over time. Clean with a mixture of lemon juice and baking soda for stubborn spots. Dry completely after.
