Across Ugaritic, Phoenician, and Mesopotamian traditions, Dagon is known as the God of Grain, Agriculture, Abundance, and sometimes the Sea (depending on region).
He is the father of Baʿal Hadad in Ugaritic myth, and a cosmic figure bridging earth’s harvest and the mysteries of the deep.
His worship spans millennia, one of the oldest agricultural deities ever recorded.
He is the ancient father of plenty, Dagon, god of grain, growth, and the deep mysteries of the earth.
