This pendant honors Iphis and Ianthe, the lovers of Roman myth whose devotion defied the boundaries of body and expectation. Born female but raised male, Iphis fell deeply in love with Ianthe, and on the eve of their wedding, the goddess Isis intervened.
What followed was a transformation not just of body, but of destiny.
This piece is a symbol of queer endurance, gender fluidity, and divine affirmation, for those whose love is as sacred as it is brave, and whose identity is a journey, not a box.
